After nearly 18 years of growing a business and serving moms with Labors of Love in Spartanburg, it is time for a change. I am excited to announce the creation of a new Upstate venture, Wellborn, a midwifery practice equally owned by its founding partners, myself and Jennifer Stewart, formerly of Joy in Birth Midwifery. Wellborn’s goal is to be a dynamic practice, providing care centered on excellence, dedication, and service to the childbearing community. The video at the bottom of the email will share our heart for the new practice As we make this transition from Labors of Love to Wellborn, nothing will change before April 30. All of us will continue to serve our mutual clients through the month of April, giving time for those due May 2019 and beyond to choose which practice they would like to continue with. There will be no change in your original contracted pricing agreement, and your records will follow as you transfer to the practice of your choosing. For moms that are delivering after the April 30th date, Jennifer and Amy will be in close contact with you as the date approaches to let you know our future plans for potential use of the facility at Labors of Love. Mothers choosing home births will not be affected by the change at all. The contact information for each midwife is below. You may call and confirm your choice of practice by April 30, and we will make sure that your records are transferred accordingly.
